Tuhan adalah kasih (1 Yoh 4:8,16) dan kudus (Mz 99:9). Kasih-Nya yang tak terbatas tercurah kepada kita semua, dengan mengirimkan Putera-Nya yang terkasih, Yesus Kristus, sehingga kita memperoleh kehidupan kekal. Dan Roh Kudus, terus menerus bekerja untuk membantu umat Tuhan menjadi Kudus, sehingga semua dapat turut berpartisipasi dalam kehidupan Tuhan. Kekudusan ini bukanlah terbatas untuk para santa-santo, pastor dan suster, namun kita semua juga dipanggil untuk menjadi kudus (Ef 1:4).

Dan kekudusan ini diwujudkan dalam kasih kepada Tuhan dan kasih kepada sesama. Sejak awal penciptaan, Tuhan sendiri sudah mempersiapkan suatu wadah, yang dinamakan “Gereja”. Gereja ini dipersiapkan oleh Tuhan mulai dari umat Israel, sampai mendapatkan kepenuhannya pada waktu Yesus Kristus sendiri mendirikan Gereja, yang dikenal dengan nama: Tubuh Mistik Kristus, Kerajaan Allah, Umat Allah yang Baru, dll. Gereja ini diinstitusikan oleh Kristus: dilahirkan pada waktu darah dan air tercurah dari lambung-Nya di kayu salib, dan dinyatakan secara penuh pada waktu Pentakosta. Dari sinilah karya keselamatan diteruskan oleh para rasul dan murid-murid-Nya, yang kemudian dilanjutkan oleh para uskup dibawah pimpinan Paus, dan para pembantu mereka, yaitu para pastor. Mereka semua bersatu di dalam Gereja yang “satu, kudus, katolik, dan apostolik“. Empat tanda gereja inilah yang menjadi tanda dari “Gereja Katolik” yang bertahan selama lebih dari 2000 tahun, dari saat Pentakosta sampai saat ini dan sampai pada akhir jaman. Berangkat dari pemikiran di atas, kami memberanikan diri untuk membuat website ini, sehingga Gereja Katolik yang mempunyai “kepenuhan kebenaran” dapat juga menjangkau banyak orang.

Untuk itu, www.katolisitas.org mencoba untuk menyajikan dokumen-dokumen Gereja dan tulisan-tulisan yang berdasarkan: 1) Kitab Suci, 2) Katekismus Gereja Katolik, 3) dokumen Vatikan II, 4) Tulisan dari Paus Yohanes Paulus II dan Paus Benediktus XVI, juga para paus yang lain, 5) tulisan para santa dan santo, 6) Kitab hukum Gereja, 7) dan juga dokumen Gereja yang lain, seperti ensiklikal, surat gembala dll. Dengan dasar semua ini, diharapkan tulisan yang ditampilkan dalam website ini sesuai dengan pengajaran Gereja Katolik. Jika sampai ada yang tidak sesuai, hal itu disebabkan karena keterbatasan para penulis dan dengan segala kerendahan hati mohon maaf. Jika ini terjadi kami akan segera memperbaikinya atas dasar ketaatan kami kepada otoritas Gereja dan semua pengajaran yang diberikannya yang kami yakini berasal dari Kristus sendiri. Kami menyadari bahwa ini adalah proyek jangka panjang, dimana diharapkan nantinya dokumen-dokumen Gereja yang dimuat di situs ini akan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber informasi untuk pengajaran Gereja Katolik, baik bagi kaum awam maupun bagi yang belajar teologi. Di saat yang akan datang, kami akan berusaha untuk menyajikan dokumen Gereja, tulisan, beserta dengan “alat pencarian” yang lebih efektif, sehingga dapat benar-benar digunakan dalam proses belajar dan pada akhirnya menemukan kebenaran itu sendiri, yaitu Yesus Kristus. On the basis of all this, the expected text that is displayed in this website in accordance with the teaching of the Catholic Church. If any are not appropriate, it is because the limitations of the writers and humbly apologize. If this happens we will immediately fix it on the basis of our obedience to the teaching authority of the Church and all that it provides that we believe comes from Christ himself. We realize that this is a long-term project, which is expected later Church documents contained on this site will be able to become one of the resources for the teaching of the Catholic Church, both laity and those who study theology. In time to come, we will attempt to present the church documents, writings, along with the "search tool" more effective, so that it can actually be used in the learning process and ultimately discover the truth itself, which is Yesus Kristus.
