I Love Vegeterian - शाकाहारी description

Protein develops muscles and bones. We also know that it requires more energy when the body grows faster than adolescence. Newborn infants need protein most. Still, what is the best diet for the newborn? This is mother's milk. And how much protein is there in mother's milk? Only five percent! While the meat and dairy industry wants to make us believe that a bigger person should eat such food as maximum protein. This is nonsense. This is nothing but their marketing strategy. According to Swamy Chidanand Saraswati's book, if the scientific research is free from bias, then the percentage of recommended protein is much lower than the quantity given by the research center sponsored by the meat and dairy industries. For example, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition recommends taking 2.5 percent of the food consumed daily, while the recommendation of the World Health Organization is 4.5 percent. The Food and Nutrition Board raises this figure to six percent.

Secondly, the food from the plants, which includes vegetables, food grains and pods etc., contains so much protein that the need for our daily needs is met. If we eat balanced food, then surely there is a sufficient amount of protein. Good sources of protein are pulses, soybean, dairy products, giri and peas etc. For example, 29 percent in pulses, 28 percent in peas, 49 percent in spinach, 40 percent in cabbage, 12-18 percent in beans and 40 percent of protein in tomatoes is found. After this, there are answers to some questions in the book which are often raised like how can we meet the daily needs of the protein? Also, curiosity has been made to relate to Iron, Calcium, Vitamin B12 and other elements. We also discussed the ecological impacts of beef production and the growing trend of meat consumption. It is notable that on an average, an American consumes 125 kg of meat every year, Chinese 70 kg and Indians only 3.5 kg. This shows that every year around 5,500 million animals are destroyed in the world for meat production. In other words, as many humans live on Earth, ten times more animals are slaughtered every year. A kg of beef is required to produce around 16 kg of food.
