Easier Keyboard creation with Enterprise Keyboard Designer

Enterprise Keyboard Designer (EKD) is a GUI tool for Windows that can be used to create customized key layouts to enhance an application and enable efficient and accurate data entry. Layouts created with EKD work on Zebra Android devices that use Zebra's Enterprise Keyboard (EKB) 3.2 (and later), and can be displayed programmatically using Android intents or through DataWedge 7.4.44 (and later) when specific input situations arise.
EKD employs a drag-and-drop interface with control over fonts, images, key codes, layout transparency and many other layout properties. As many as 20 custom key layouts can be created, and are stored in a "layout definition file," which is deployed to devices and called by apps as needed to match specific types of input. Zebra Enterprise Keyboard (EKB) must be installed and set as the default input method to make use of custom EKD layouts.

Color of secondary keys changed to 'white' to comply with W3C accessibility guidelines
Supports selection of a custom language through managed configurations
Remote configuration support through OEMConfig is deprecated.
Remote configuration support is enabled through Enterprise Keyboard’s Managed configuration.

[SPR48019] Enterprise Keyboard now supports StageNow Profiles that apply custom language settings.
[SPR47295] StageNow GUI with MX11.9 or above now supports custom language setting.

Newly supported devices in this release: TC58, TC73, TC78, ET40, ET45, TC15

Android 10 requires 10-16-10.00-QG-U120-STD-HEL-04 or later and Android 11 SDM660 requires 11-33-08.00-RG-U01 and Android 11 TC53,TC73 requires 11-21-27.00-RG-U00.
