There are lots of yogis around of us.So what is actually yogi is A yogi is a practitioner of yoga. Yogi are like yogananada or Buddha.A yogi is a practitioner of yoga. The term "yogi" is also used to refer specifically to Siddhas, and broadly to refer to ascetic practitioners of meditation in a number of Indian religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
The Sanskrit word "yoga" has many meanings, and is derived from the Sanskrit root "yuj", meaning "to control" (self discipline), "to yoke" (egolessness) or "to unite" (live in a cosmic consciousness). Someone who practices yoga or follows the yoga philosophy to a high level of attainment is called a yogi or yogini. Himalyan yogis are the most famous masters.These masters of Himalaya find and enlightenment and they spread that knowledge to peoples.
