And they do this long and hard, and always with a smile! Ujaala helps you find such people in your neighborhood. Folks who can make your life easy, so you can do the things you like.

You pay them well for the convenience they bring. But often wonder how they manage their livelihoods. After all they also have a spouse, kids and parents. And live in expensive cities like we do. They often need extra funds…..for that tuition bill from their daughters school, or for that surgery they have been planning for their father, or for a family visit to their grandparents hometown far away. So they go to their bank for a loan. However without a credit history banks turn them down. They then visit the local money lender; who gives the loan but charges them exorbitant interest rates; sometimes in excess of 1000% a year.

Sometimes they ask us....and we gladly oblige. Ujaala helps you keep track of these advances and paybacks. And the hope is that over time each one of them will build a credit history to qualify for bank loans and avoid the exorbitant interest rates the local moneylenders charge.
