Thathe Training and Development is a 100% black owned Training establishment. It was founded in 2004 by Patrick ‘Thathe’ Nzimande who is the company’s Managing Director. By 2005, the establishment had met all the legislative, regulatory and operational requirements of a Training Provider as prescribed by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Safety and Security SETA (SASSETA), the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).PFTC (Professional Firearm Training Council)
To promote Skills Development and assist the previously disadvantaged communities to gain entry into the Security Industry and related fields thereby bridging the skills gap
