About this product

Star Where - Practical Astronomy Lite description

The most practical, simple and straightforward beginner's amateur astronomy application. As someone interested in the night sky, it is not always possible to be under a brilliant star studded sky as shown in many apps. But you get many opportunities to stare at the night sky from your home balcony or porch. Let's help you make full use of these times. This application understands that you might not have the most dark and unpolluted sky. Also that you might not have access to the whole sky when you have only one balcony. It is very practical and guides you to only celestial objects which you can see.

Select your location and time. Select your arena - outdoors, porch or balcony followed by your sky type - city, rural or dark. We will tell you what's up there. Enjoy those beautiful celestial objects. Select a celestial object from the list and we will tell you which direction to see and how high the object is. Also provided are pre-rendered maps with two zoom levels. Use this map for star hopping to the celestial object of interest.
