Slug Map description

In connection with a joint development project in Danish agriculture, the Slug Map has been developed to report and follow the development of harmful slug (snails) attacks. With common effort, our hope is to get a few steps ahead of the attacks to reduce their impact. With due care we can save large amounts by (1) reducing the use of pesticides, (2) avoiding unnecessary soil compression, and by (3) avoiding unexpected field activity and yield losses.

The app was designed and developed by FieldSense A/S with grants from "Grønt Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram (GUDP)" under the Ministry of Environment and Food.
