About this product

Find out everything your smartphone sensor has to offer.

Sensor description

Get full information about all capabilitys your sensors can do.

See every sensor data in a clear way.

Every Sensor and its sensor data is displayed in the home screen.
The way the Sensor way is displayed is open and does not clutter your screen.
All installed sensors that your phone has are displayed on the home screen. When you click on the sensor it shows you all the capabilities that the sensor has.

Every hardware sensor has a standard format in which it displays it items. Most Sensors display the sensor data across the axis. The x, y and z axis are the sensor data. Every sensor has a name. Who made the sensor and the sensor version. How much milli ampere the sensor consumes to keep delivering sensor data. Every sensor has a delay in which it can give sensor data. The fastest interval and the longest interval are shown the sensor can deliver values. Also, the maximum range the sensor values can reach.

It can happen that your phone does not have the sensor installed. For example many people complain that it does not show sensor xyz. That is because your smartphone hardware does not have the sensor. Many cheap phones cheap out on the hardware sensor. Since not many people even know what their phones are capable thanks to the hardware sensor. Many expensive phones have a lot of sensors and it is cool to see what your phone has to offer in terms of sensors. An Accelerometer Sensor have many phones. Or a Light Sensor to see if the camera need to turn on light for photo.

In the menu all sensor that android phones have are displayed in the menu. Just click on any of them and it will display your more details about the Sensor. When you don't have the sensor, like many cheap phones don't have many sensors in the hardware, the Sensor App will show you that you don't have the Sensor. Some Sensors are not even hardware sensors. They are virtual sensors that calculate their values based on hardware sensors. Most well now Sensor is the Step Counter Sensor. Based on the acceleration on the three sensor axis it can calculate if you have taken a step through Fourier transformation. Like this the Sensor says that you have taken a Step. Many other smart devices use this find out if you have taken a step bases on the sensor data.

All possible Sensors are.
Acceleration Sensor: The acceleration along the 3 dimensional Axis.
Magneticfield Sensor: The magnetic field strength along the 3 dimensional Axis.
Gravity Sensor: The gravity force along the 3 dimensional Axis.
Gyroscope Sensor: The rotation force in rad/s along the 3 dimensional Axis.
Linear Acceleration Sensor: The acceleration without gravity along the 3 Axis Sensor.
Ambient Temperature Sensor: The current temperature Sensor.
Light Sensor: The brightness of the light .
Pressure Sensor: The atmospheric pressure in hPa.
Relative Humidity Sensor: The humidity, water content, in the air.
Rotation Vector Sensor: The rotation as vector of the phone.
Proximity Sensor: How far away something is, most have only far and near as value Sensor.
Step Counter Sensor: How many steps the Sensor has detected.

System wide Dark Mode is available. When activated changes are applied automatically and you can enjoy my Sensor App with a new look and feel.

Many people also want to capture the sensor data over a long time. No Problem. Click on the start button in the detail sensor view. It captures the sensor data and writes the sensor values inside a .csv file. You can even turn of your screen and the sensor data will be continued to be captured. No fear that when you don't use your phone it will stop capturing sensor data. Maximum file size is 4GB for sensor data.
