Securage Vault description

*** This application requires ROOT to function ***

*** This application is still in beta phase and might contain bugs, please visit http://securageapp.com to report bugs and to make feature requests ***

Securage uses LUKS ( well known Linux disk encryption specification ) to provide corporate level security for Android devices using encrypted virtual partition.

LUKS uses pipelining and transparent disk encryption to ensure instant file access without encryption or decryption delays and supports all underlying file systems i.e. ext and fat.

Securage uses LUKS to create an encrypted virtual partition on your SD card, this partition once mounted looks and works like any other folder. Un-mounting this partition leaves folder empty allowing you to plausibly deny the existence of any private files.

A unique advantage of using Securage is availability of files to third-party applications e.g. if you want to email secure document stored inside vault using third-party application, you can do so by mounting partition on folder and then attaching file using packaged Content Provider or your favorite File Manager.

Securage uses military-grade encryption to encrypt all your files and password is never stored on your device or in cloud to ensure that no one can access your files, except you.

Dependencies:

Secrage requires following two applications to work on your device

1. SuperUser
2. BusyBox

Your kernel must have dm-crypt support. This application was tested on Google Nexus S with CyanogenMod 10.
