ReHand, Hand Rehabilitation on Tablet device description

Download the Tablet demo version now!

ReHand is a tool for prescribing and conducting exercise programs for the rehabilitation of the wrist-hand-finger segment. ReHand provides patients with an exercise program adapted to their pathology and recovery time, and healthcare professionals with a prescription and monitoring tool.

ReHand has been developed by a team of healthcare professionals including surgeons, physiotherapists, practitioners and occupational therapists. The exercise programs implemented are based on the most up-to-date scientific evidence. All exercises are performed by touching the touchscreen of tablet devices and guided by feedback, allowing the retraining of motor patterns of the wrist hand-finger segment. An adjusting is performed prior to each exercise, ensuring that the patient can work in a pain-free range of movement and considering the potential movement limitations. In addition, the exercises are adapted and progressed according to the patient's evolution, seeking the challenging and attention-grabbing character that these interventions require.

Finally, healthcare professionals can monitor their patient and track their progress, their adherence to treatment or their weekly scores on scales and clinical questionnaires, all through PDF reports sent to professionals.

With the aim of safeguarding the patient's health and demonstrating clinical effectiveness, the exercise programs carried out in ReHand have been scientifically validated through multicenter clinical trials with more than 600 patients, whose results have been reported and published in scientific journals and conferences, both national and international.

ReHand is and has been promoted by entities such as the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Health), the Andalusian Public Health Service or the College of Physiotherapists of Andalusia. Likewise, it holds the Appsaludable Distinctive, which recognizes the quality and safety of health apps.
