QuitBet description

Are you looking to quit smoking cigarettes? WayBetter, the company that created DietBet, StepBet, and the WayBetter app, is conducting a research study on a new quit smoking game called QuitBet! Just like our other games, QuitBet is played on your smartphone and will use money rewards, peer support, and accountability to motivate you to achieve your goal.

Players should be smoking cigarettes daily prior to joining the game. Players “bet” on themselves to quit smoking and earn money for not smoking during the game. We hope that the cash prize and accountability help you quit smoking while having fun! The QuitBet game will be 4 weeks (28 days) long, with a goal to quit smoking on day 2 and stay smoke-free for the rest of the game.
