18 PayUp description

*An assignment for partial fulfilment of the coursework of Mobile Applications Development AY2018/19*

PayUp is a bill splitting application made to ease the bill splitting process during a wonder outing with friends. All the user has to do to split the bill, is to take a snapshot of a receipt and the app would separate each item in the list along with its cost. After that, the user can invite his/her friends to pick the items that they have ordered and pay for it. It works with Optical Character Recognition(OCR) technology which uses the camera to capture characters from images. The app captures the items ordered from the receipt and split it into multiple individual objects that can be selected by users of the app. Once selected, the cost of the item will be combined with other items selected by a user and tabulated. The app provides features to redirect users to Payment method, like PayLah to complete their payment.
