The National Library of Serbia, the largest national library in this part of Europe, the oldest and most important cultural institution in Serbia, offers 600 seats in 12 specialized reading rooms.
Its fund counts more than 5 million units.
Within the National Library of Serbia there are several specialized agencies (CIP, ISBN, ISSN, ISMN, ISAN, DOI).
It is the center of the Virtual Library of Serbia, which creates a reciprocal catalog featuring about 180 libraries with more than 2.5 million bibliographic records.
