Salah (Arabic: صَلاة, romanized: Arabic pronunciation: [sˤa'laːt], lit. 'prayer'),also known as namāz (Persian: نماز‎) and also spelled salat, are prayers performed by Muslims. Facing the qibla, the direction of the Kaaba with respect to those praying, Muslims pray first standing and later kneeling or sitting on the ground, reciting from the Quran and glorifying and praising Allah as they bow and prostrate themselves in between. Salah is composed of prescribed repetitive cycles of bows and prostrations, called rakat (sing. rak'ah). The number of rak'ahs, also known as units of prayer, varies from prayer to prayer. Ritual purity and wudu are prerequisites for performing the prayers.

Namaz is the most basic duty (farz) in Islam. There are a lot of verses in the Quran Pak in which importance of Prayer (Salah or Namaz) like:
“As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer,- never shall We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish”. [7:170]

As mentioned in Hadith “Salah or Namaz is a pillar of Islam”. We know that Allah in one and Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) his last messenger. So we have to obey Allah and Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) order and offer all five times a day.
