Seçeceğimiz meslekte başarılı olabilmenin ilk şartı, kendimize uygun olan mesleği seçmektir. Meslek seçimi hayatımız boyunca genellikle sadece bir kez yapabildiğimiz bir seçimdir. "Hangi meslek?" sorusuna verilecek cevap bu nedenle çok önemlidir. Meslek seçimine rehberlik edecek çalışmaların en önemlilerinden biri de Mesleki eğilim Belirleme Ölçeğidir (Mesleki eğilim Belirleme Anketidir.).Bu uygulamamızda mesleki eğilim belirleme ölçeğinde kullanılan türden 160 adet soru bulunmaktadır. Sorulara 4 seçenekle cevap alınmaktadır. 4 seçenekle cevap alınması, elde edilen sonucun hassasiyetini artırmaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde 10 meslek grubunda ayrı ayrı değerlendirme yapılmaktadır.
