Lingvo Light is NOT a manual, NOR a dictionary.
Lingvo Light is your personal language fitness that sets you on the right track as you tackle a new foreign language.
New words. In “Your vocabulary” section, you’ll be able to fill in cards for remembering words that you want to master. You’ll be able to create a “Topics” section in which you can group the words you need.
For example, Subjects such as “Weather,” “Acquaintances,” “Sports,” “Lesson 12” and so on. To help you remember the meaning of new words, there is a “TEST” section, containing cards that you have filled in with new words that will pop out on the screen at random. Many have found it easier to remember new words if they type them out. This too has been taken into account.
Verbs. The “Directory” contains some 800 verbs in the Infinitive and their conjugations. The “Test” section will help you remember the conjugation of verbs. You can do that with all the Verbs in the Directory, or you can do the same using separate groups of verbs. You can change a verb or pronoun with a single Click. Verbs that you have difficulty in remembering can be highlighted with a asterisk, placed in the “SAVED” file and return to them at any time with a single Click.
The Lingvo Light app requires the Internet only for downloading it to you device. After that, it works in the off-line mode. It goes without saying this is convenient if you don’t have to connect to the Internet.
