Japan Night View Best 100 description

Japan is blessed with the most spots for sightseeing at night, more so than any other country in the world.

As a country built on an island, Japan's topological elements include cities, ports and mountains.
This sparked an interest in climbing mountains again and again to pick out distinctive night spots for specific regions.
Night spots are known for their ability to move people, as well as making memories.
After some time, when one gazes upon the view again, the memories are freshly brought back to life.

We wanted to introduce such excellent night view spots, and so in 2003 April, “新日本三大夜景” (New Three Biggest Night Views of Japan) and in 2004 March, “夜景100選” (Japan Night View Best 100) were born.
