“Itihaas Mitra” is an android application which is designed to help the new learners in historical research. This app includes various articles of historical calendars including Hindu and Islamic, history of Modi, how to do historical study, time line of life of Shivaji Maharaj, various seals of Chhatrapati & Peshwe, Ashtapradhan Mandal, 12 Mahal & 18 Karkhanes, Historical calculations and lastly small dictionary.

Most of the times, we go to somewhere else and unexpectedly we found historical documents. At this time, a major problem faced by history students is, 'how to calculate old stats, how to draw a approx date from given islamic calendar or hindu calendar, how to find specific word', or the major problem is, 'what is the type of discovered document ?'. All these questions may arise at any time. Now, it is practically not possible to take supportive books along with you every time. And this was the main focus of developing this app. Anybody, can find whatever basics he/she wants regarding old medieval maratha historical document.

12 Mahals & 18 Karkhane are different departments of the Capital fort. besides that, List of various seals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, SSambhaji Maharaj, Rajaram Maharaj & Shahu Maharaj as well as All the Peshwas of Maratha kingdom Since Shamrajpant Nilkanth to Bajirao Raghunath Peshwa is given.

Chhatrapati Shivaji ordered his two servents to write to incredible books on language and writing protocols. On that note, Balaji Avji Chitre (Chitnis) wrote "LekhanPrashasti" and Raghunathpant Hanmante wrote "Rajyavyavahaar kosh". these two books are not available now a days, but what was the purpose behind that And what these books are all about is given in an small article. Ashtapradhan Mandal (team of 8 ministers) is also narrated along with their farsi names, marathi names and name of the person served that place.

I hope, this application will be much helpful to new learners as well as others too. Since this is first version, there might be some grammatical mistakes or some bugs, which will be recovered in next version of app very soon. I am a small history student and dedicating this app to all the great historians who always tried to discover new things from history. Thank You.
