Prophetic Medicine description

Medical science is a skill that studies the pain and health of the human body and other related matters. Or in other words maintain the health of healthy people and reject the illness of the sick. Ibn Sina in his book, Al Qonuun fith Thiib said that medicine is the science that discusses the state of health and sickness of the human body with the aim of getting appropriate ways to maintain or maintain health and relieve pain (Al Qonun fith Thib juz 1 page 3; Beirut)
The Qur'an has explained and emphasized the principles of medicine as in Surah Al-A'raf verse 31
The health principle contained in the above paragraph is so that we do not overdo it in eating and drinking. Modern medicine has proven many diseases that are obtained if we overdo it in eating and drinking such as obesity, hypertension, stroke, and others.
Medical science has always developed from the past until now and through various stages, namely:
- the stage of empirical experience
Starting from someone who has experience about an illness. If he does not know about the disease he encounters, he will ask other people whose schemes are known or have experienced it themselves. Then these experiences are arranged.
- systematized stage of empiricism
An example is the Greeks, they collect a number of data, both from their own experience or from neighbors and surrounding communities. The data is systematically integrated.
- experimental science stage
The experimental method was clearly seen when the method carried out by the Greeks had exhausted its effectiveness.

1.1 Ath Thib An Nabawi
2.1.1 Definition of At Thib An Nabawi
According to Ibn Hajr, Ath Thib in ‘Arabic is used to show the meaning of al-hadhaq bi al-syai '(perfect knowledge of something and expertise in doing it), so that those who have the ability to treat diseases are called Thabib. The word Thib also has other meanings such as change, improve, justify, etc.
Ath Thib An Nabawi is a collection of sayings of the Prophet about medical matters compiled systematically by Muslim writers. However, more broadly said that the Prophet's medicine is broad and is a combination of health theories and practices that have been taught by the Prophet along with the results of medical research, activities and thoughts all the time.
The Prophet's hadith narrated by Al Bukhori, the fourth volume, is a reliable source, containing the prophet's words about illness, medicine, the sick, and others. In the Prophet's medicine, the most important goal is to maintain the health of the patient, both body, soul, mind (psychic), and social.
Unfortunately, there is one school or school that says that the prophet's medicine is also the sunnah of the Prophet, and that not following it means not following the teachings of Islam.
2.1.2 Principles of Ath Thib An Nabawi
Ibnul Qoyyim Al Jauziyah said that the method of treatment that was delivered by the Prophet was a revelation from Allah, the Creator.
Prophetic traditions that deal with health problems have only recently proven the truth and benefits felt a few decades ago. One example is the prophet's hadith which means "The stomach is a place of dwelling of disease and restrain appetite (stomach) is the subject of every drug. Then make this your habit. " Though the Prophet lived more than 14 centuries ago. Principles of Medicine The Prophet was also influenced by Greek medicine, Persian medicine and Indian medicine (M. Ali Thoha Assegaf: 2007).
In the book Riyadhush Sholihin written by Imam An Nawawi also mentions the words of Rosulullah which was narrated by Imam Bukhori and Muslim Imam which means "Fever is included the aura of hellish hell. Therefore reduce it with water".
