Higher Counthill Farm description

We offer two forms of membership: paying and non-paying. Our Arena's, are a Silica sand base, topped with PVC Granules, which provides a proven, frost resistant, all-weather surface. We are located near Oldham in beautiful, open countryside representing the best of the north’s open spaces. Our facilities consist of 39 stables, two new arenas and impressive farmland backdrop for your training or leisure use.

All facilities are flood lit with stadium grade lighting for those darker winter nights. If you would like to take advantage of enjoying night riding our lighting prices are as follows:
Jumping Arena £1 for 10mins
Flatwork Arena £1 for 6mins
We cater to all users, from the absolute beginner needing to train with horses for the first time right up to experienced users improving their skills for competitions.
