Panchamukhi Hanuman is a form of Lord Hanuman. Panchamukhi (alternate spelling panchamukha) means "five-faced". Lord Hanuman assumed this form to kill Mahiravana, a powerful rakshasa black-magician and practitioner of the dark arts during the Ramayana war.
