Gulf Red Snapper - CHARTER description

Welcome to iAngler Gulf Red Snapper-Charter!

iAngler Gulf Red Snapper-Charter (iAGRS-G) is a pilot reporting project for Florida Gulf private charter anglers to voluntarily report their fishing trips through the iAGRS-G smartphone app. This is a true private-public partnership between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Florida’s recreational anglers, through the Angler Action Program.

Anglers can report their fishing trips targeting Gulf red snapper using the free iAngler Gulf Red Snapper-Charter mobile app, or the website www.angleraction.org. Anglers who register in the system and report their trip and catch information can use the app and website as their personal and private fishing logbook, tracking important trip details that can help them recognize their personal angling trends over time. Angler Action will maintain and protect the database, then report certain aspects of the information to FWC, which will help biologists and managers better understand fish populations.

Your participation can lead to a brighter fishing future, so start logging today!
