Annelies Marie Frank, better known as Anne Frank, was a German girl of Jewish descent who became world famous thanks to the novel we know today as The Diary of Ana Frank. In this particular diary, the protagonist narrates the almost two and a half years in which she remained hidden with her family during the Second World War (1939-1945). We go back to the first half of the last century, where the protagonist hid with her family and another small group of people in the back of a factory in the center of Amsterdam. City where they lived. There they remained hidden for more than two years until they were finally discovered and taken to a concentration camp.

Throughout the pages of this book, Ana Frank transmits us the feelings and experiences that occurred during those fateful years. She narrates personal feelings, reflections on the war and human behavior. This novel transports us to the years of the Holocaust through the eyes of an innocent 15 year old girl. This is perhaps one of those must-read works that even today, more than 80 years later, have much to teach us.
