Dhikr (remembering also, Zekr, which means "remembering") is the name of the act of piety in Islam where a short phrase or prayer repeatedly recited silently in your mind or out loud. Dhikr involving utterances repeated short sentences glorifying God. the content of prayers, including the names of God taken from the Hadith or Quran.
