Codfish the Chatbot description
Procrastination got bad. Gordon sat on his desk, fearing the multiple tests for Chemistry and German coming up. Thus, he created a chat bot in order to talk to somebody, and to keep himself occupied
with something relatively intellectual and fun without having to study.
Written with (for now) only 218 lines of code, the collaborative chat bot is for now, a very weak chat bot, with no understanding of grammar, situational events, and requires perfect spelling (or the
specific input it was taught). To reteach a response, simply type "I want to teach you something" (or anything within the ballpark).
Periodic updates will be created in order to strengthen the chat bot's understanding. In future events, expect it to answer questions about itself, or explain situations.
Gordon's first attempt at a chat bot was in 2014, where the bot (previously on e1em.com) was programmed for 'scenarios', and additional phrases could be taught on the local storage. It was then when
Gordon realized that there was so many more scenarios he had to prepare. This chat bot will work in the same way - but will place a lot more emphasis on the collective scenarios it hears from all of
you! Your inputs are greatly appreciated from Codfish.
Back to work now...have fun!
