Our Mission and Vision…

We dream of a Kenya (and Africa) where children know who they are, feel loved, valued and that they matter; where children have equal opportunities and resources to thrive, pursue what they enjoy and are good at, and be who they want to be; and an adult population that owns these children in communal mentorship and stewardship, anchoring in the children values and ethos that will prepare them to be the citizenry that Kenya needs.

Our Mission…

We aim to enhance Identity, Equity, Inclusion, Innovation, Self-worth and Citizenship by providing quality education through:-

(i) Giving of scholarships to children from low income families. We are nonpartisan and support girls and boys, children with disability, Muslims and Christians, refugee children, and internally displaced children.

(ii) Driving a holistic Mentorship for Freedom (MFF) programme that is grounded in ubuntu (communality). The programme empowers children, their parents and teachers and other stakeholders in society to know who they are, be confident in themselves, explore what they are good at, take responsibility over their destiny, have values, and become the creators, innovators and problem solvers that Kenya and Africa needs. The MFF programme shapes a total person.

(iii) Building The Ubuntu Centre for Innovation. This is a campus that will offer a holistic curriculum that will facilitate children to know who they are, what they are good at, and turn them into the creators and innovators that Kenya and Africa needs. This campus is our ultimate goal.

Our goals…

We aim to:-

(i) Overturn discriminations and social injustices (gender, ability, race, cultural, financial, geographical based etc) that keep children out of school, by offering them educational opportunities that will see them grow in what they are good at and become who they wish to be.

(ii) Enhance the ubuntu approach in schools through, not only supporting, mentoring and empowering children, but mentoring and empowering their parents, teachers and other stakeholders. We want the child to receive stability, support and safety from all sides.

(iii) Prepare holistic curriculum for learning and for mentorship that will fuse cognitive (academic), emotive (psychosocial), physical, and creative/talent aspects of development, as well as enhance citizenship education. This is a curriculum that will mould children to be the citizenry that Kenya and Africa needs.

(iv) Mitigate the shortfall of physical spaces for learning by building The Ubuntu Centre for Innovation.

(v) Scaling up and adapting our model of education and mentorship to other countries in Africa. We are Pan African.
