Keď som v júni 2011 spustila na sociálnej sieti Facebook stránku Bratislava fotogenická, fotila som na mobil, staršiu Nokiu. Fotky sa nielen mne zdali vskutku pekné;). (Teraz sa nad tým “pod fúz” usmievam.) Dnes je na stránke vidieť posun. Jej vlastný - čo do obsahu, aj môj - čo do kvality fotografií. Stránku som postupne vyprofilovala nielen ako prezentáciu mojich či dobových fotografií a videí Bratislavy, ale aj ako priestor na prezentáciu občianskeho pohľadu na nie práve najveselšie dianie v Bratislave.

Spolu s mojimi článkami či s článkami z médií pribúdali aj pozvánky na podujatia v Bratislave… a zrazu to bolo jasné. Bratislava potrebuje webovú stránku s informáciami a názormi z prostredia občianskej spoločnosti, ktoré nebudú prifarbovať developeri a investori, ani skresľovať politické bábky, ale práve naopak; chýba jej pravdivá súhrnná stránka o aktivitách občianskych iniciatív, združení, jednotlivcov či ad hoc spojení s jediným cieľom. A tým je prospech mesta a ľudí v ňom žijúcich, prospech a udržateľnosť verejných priestorov, zelene, pamiatok, dopravy atp.

Bratislavský webzine Bratislava fotogenická je priestorom, kde publikujeme články z prostredia občianskej spoločnosti, predovšetkým tlačové správy bratislavských MVO, názory, rozhovory, petície, protesty, pozvánky, ankety, granty, užitočné odkazy, zákony, adresár MVO, adresár mesta, inzerciu na prácu v MVO, príklady dobrej praxe, občianske kauzy či stavebné a výrubové konania atp. A samozrejme, na stránke sa vždy budeme snažiť reflektovať aktuálne dianie v meste a podľa potreby mu prispôsobovať obsah a/alebo štruktúru.

Vytvoriť dobrú, politicky nezávislú, devolopermi neovplyvnenú občiansku stránku s názorom je rovnako náročné ako vytvoriť dobré mienkotvorné noviny.
