Biblia Reina Valera 1960 description
The King James, also called Bible of Cassiodorus Queen or Bear Bible, is one of the first translations of the Bible into Castilian.
The work was made from the translation of the original texts in Hebrew and Greek and was published in Basel, Switzerland, on September 28, 1569. His translator was Cassiodorus de Reina, Spanish
religious converted to Protestantism. He is nicknamed King James for making Cipriano de Valera's first review of it in 1602. The King James was widely publicized during the Protestant Reformation of
the sixteenth century. Today, the King James (with several revisions through the years) is one of the bibles in Spanish most used by most of the Christian churches resulting from the Reformation
(including evangelical churches), as well as other Christian faith groups such as the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Ministerial Church, Gideons
International and other non-denominational Christians.
