Android Device TrackeR allows users to share their approximate location between each other and make them aware that they have arrived in their destination safely. The main goal is to make your closest less worry while they can see your approximate location.
On daily basis happens that your phone runs out of battery or that you are in poor signal covered area and even this information you can pass onto your family or friend through Android Device Tracker.

Note that location sharing is not happening in real time but you can setup an interval how often your phone should attempt to send its location yourself.
