The Alachua County Crisis Center presents this Suicide Intervention and Phone Crisis app to offer direct and immediate support to you, or people you know, who are struggling with feelings of hopelessness and thoughts of suicide (tambien en espanol). Inside you will find helpful information, resources, and tools at your fingertips and a direct line for immediate support. Other features include: - Direct line to Alachua County hotline, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. - Helpful education on the warning signs. - Resources for you if you feel overwhelmed or alone, or what to do if a friend or a loved one. - Direct links for various demographics, including: The Trevor Project, Trans Lifeline, NAMI, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Gainesville Peer Respite, Gainesville Opportunity Center - Opportunities for volunteer training. - Mental health events in the community This Suicide Intervention and Phone Crisis app is an immediate resource for assistance and information. Our 24-hour telephone crisis intervention and counseling service counselors are always available to listen to problems and participate in their solution.
