Showcasing sports and athletes across Montana, 406 Sports is the place to come for all the sports that matter to Montanans: Cats and Griz, the Frontier Conference, MSU Billings and, of course, our nearly 200 high schools - from our largest Class AA schools right down to the smallest 6-Man football program.

It’s the easiest place to get everything from comprehensive Friday night scores to profiles of Montanans past and present whose impacts have been felt inside and outside the lines. We also cover every other sport of importance under the Big Sky: Rodeo, running, triathlons, lacrosse, rugby and cycling, to name a few.

Who are we?

406mtsports.com is a statewide all-sports website combining the resources of Lee Enterprises’ four major daily newspapers: The Billings Gazette, Missoulian, Helena Independent Record and The Montana Standard in Butte. Our mission is to cover Treasure State sports from border to border, from A to Z (Alder to Zortman).
