24K Gold Reels sticks to a rather bland, old-school layout enhanced with modern graphic and beautiful, smooth reel animations. The golden frame of the reels in the middle of the game screen stands out sharply against the deep green background, with a bright yellow command bar right at the bottom.

Even the sound effects and background melody are quite retro in 24K Gold Reels, which gives the game an old-school casino feel that was to be expected after all - it is often the case with dice games. Overall, 24K Gold Reels is not a surprising slot game at all, but the general design is very neat nonetheless.

A Quick Start
24K Gold Reels is played on 5 reels with 10 fixed paylines and a pop-up menu on the command bar to help you choose your next wager easily. The betting range goes from 0.25 to 25.00 credits per turn, and you can always use the autoplay mode to speed up the game and play with the same wager several times in a row.

A Classic Dice Game with Not Much to Show for it
24K Gold Reels is a surprisingly simple slot game, with very easy rules and a somewhat short betting range. This was a little frustrating for us, as we would have liked to be able to bet more and take some extra risks in order to unlock more interesting rewards in the base game.

Things get more exciting with the bonus wheel, which is relatively easy to access. On the other hand, being able to spin the gold wheel does not mean that you are guaranteed to score one of the jackpots. In a nutshell, 24K Gold Reels is a bit of a tough sell due to its high level of difficulty and relatively low rewards. Only hard-core fans of dice games would be able to see past these flaws.
