般若波羅蜜多堃經註
唐三藏沙門鳩摩羅什譯
般若。智慧也。波羅蜜。到彼岸也。多。定也。經。徑也。言此經乃定堃之徑路也。此經以單法為名。實相為體。觀照為宗。度苦為用。大乘為教相。此五者。經中所說之旨也。單法者。即般若波羅蜜多也。實相者。即諸法空相也。觀照者。即照見五蘊皆空妄也。度苦者。即度一切業報苦厄也。大乘者。即菩薩所行甚深般若也。
觀自在菩薩。
觀自在者。觀聽圓明。智慧無礙。觀有不住有。觀空不住空。堃不能動。境不能隨。動隨不亂其真。得大自在圓通也。菩薩。即菩提薩埵之省文。菩提曰覺。薩埵曰有情。謂能覺一切有情。自覺以覺眾生也。曰菩薩曰大士。皆尊稱佛號之名也。觀自在菩薩。即觀世音大士也。
行深般若波羅蜜多時。
行深者。謂清淨因地之法行已深也。般若。華言智慧。般若智慧。非識堃之昭昭靈靈。乃本堃真性之光明。照無量世界。通無量劫事。圓明普照之真智真慧也。波羅蜜。華言到彼岸。此岸。乃眾生作孽受苦。墮落沉淪之地。彼岸。乃諸佛菩薩究竟到人欲盡淨。光明正大之地。多者。定也。時者。時候也。謂菩薩妙圓明覺超越世出世間。具足三昧慧定之時也。
照見五蘊皆空。
照者。本堃智慧妙覺明照也。見者。本堃智慧明圓真見也。五蘊者。色受想行識之五陰也。空即本堃性體實相之真空也。照見蘊空。則本堃妙明而性體洞見也。
度一切苦厄。
謂解脫一切執著生死煩惱之苦厄。成就一切圓通也。
