শারদ উচ্ছাস | Sharod Uchhash description

Sharod Uchhash, portrayed as a competition, is an event and an effort to accumulate 125+ durga pujas across kolkata under one common socio-cultural banner. The event is held across 4 days, on the auspicious occassions of Mahatritiya, Mahachaturthi, Mahapanchami and Mahashashthi. 125 Pujas are visited and shortened down to 40, further to 20 and finally zero in top 12 durga puja across the city.

Alongside this, Sharod Uchhash also aims to put a smile to children’s faces with distribution of clothes to underprivileged kids in several areas of Kolkata.

The Sharod Uchhas App presents a public interaction forum where people can access routes and photos of participating pujas. Additionally, they can also vote for the favourite puja of their choice and check videos of top 40 pujas.

In a period affected by pandemic, Sharod Uchhash app aims to provide a wholesome puja experience sitting at home.
