About this product

MindKind Study helps young adults record their daily mental and emotional health

Mindkind Study description

Keeping track of your mental and emotional health experiences is one way to discover factors that influence your wellbeing. Sharing your knowledge with researchers is one way to help them learn.

The MindKind Study app is part of a research study. We want to learn how best to create a databank (a collection of data) about mental and emotional health experiences from young adults around the world.

If you are 18 to 24 years old (16 to 24 in the UK), the MindKind research team invites you to take part in this study. If you join, you will use the free app to answer questions about your mental and emotional health. We will use your answers for research. We will not collect your name. This protects your identity.

It will take about 15-20 minutes each week. The study will last 12 weeks. You will help us understand what types of mental and emotional health experiences are important to track. You will also help us decide how to share the data with other researchers and who will be allowed to use it in future research.

Researchers in India, South Africa, the UK, and the USA are participating in the MindKind study. Sage Bionetworks, a non-profit research organization in the USA, developed the MindKind Study app. The study and app are funded by the Wellcome Trust, a global charitable foundation in the UK.

MindKind is a research study. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
