Look@Weather description

The Look@Weather app features two free webmaps for public consultation:
̶ WiseMaps (weather)
̶ Trails & POI’s (geotourism)

WiseMaps allows users to customize map visualization by enabling one or more satellite images (via WMS), in near real time*, from Eurasia (EUMETSAT) and the World (NOAA);
- GFS forecasting models (UK MetOffice & NWS);
- forecast and monitoring of hurricanes, cyclones and typhoons (NHC / JTWC);
- AROME model and Fire Weather Index (IPMA).

Trails & POI's map is specially designed for travelers and residents who are visiting Protected Areas, with information about points of interest and trails.


* WMS services refreshing time, from 5 to 30 minutes, according to each service.
