What does loop mode do?
If activated, when the phone runs out of memory, loop mode kicks in and deletes old videos until there is enough free space available.
How do I stop loop mode from deleting certain videos?
You can protect certain videos from deletion by marking them. Marking a video can be done either from the video’s individual screen by tapping on “Shock detected!” or by long-pressing on the preview
screen while recording. A sound alert will be played to confirm that the video is marked. Marked videos are also displayed separately by tapping the “Marked Videos” tab in the “Videos” menu.
What is shock detection all about?
If activated, the shock detection feature makes sure that the current video being recorded is marked when sensing a shock (read the previous two questions if you don’t know what marking means). It is
recommended to set the shock detection sensitivity to “High” when driving on bumpy roads.
Will the speedometer feature drain my battery?
Unfortunately, yes. For maximum battery life, we recommend to record without the speedometer feature activated. Also, the screen can also be turned off.
What is background recording all about?
viz is able to record in the background. This means that after you start recording, you can use any other app (for example, a navigation app) in the foreground.
