UN Together App description

The TOGETHER app is a tool for collecting and sharing positive stories of migration. Made through a collaboration between IOM, the UN Migration Agency, and Sheffield Hallam University’s CENTRIC research centre, TOGETHER is designed to use the power of social media for social change - countering the negative rhetoric surrounding migrants and refugees with poignant portraits of everyday gestures and volunteerism.

Use TOGETHER to:
-Set up a contributor profile with your name and location
-Upload stories and tag them to show where you are and what you’re doing, so that they can be searched easily
-Post photos and videos to the platform from your phone
-Earn contributor points and badges for sharing and reposting stories or actions
-Donate money to fund initiatives that support migrants
