TapLogger (beta) description

- A free location tracking and logging app.
- The focus of this app is to be able to log locations and tag them for later reference. The app was originally developed to make it possible to add location data to pictures taken with cameras without gps functionality. It designed to work out in the field where there is no data networks and where battery preserverance is important. Therefore logs a stored as local files on the device and are accessible as gpx files to make them relatively easy to extract. Every log also has a html version that can be viewed in browsers or with the Google Map app.
There is functionality to send logs to your contacts as SMS or email.

- Run logging sessions that logs your position every X seconds and store the locations as way points in gpx files.
- Tap on the map to log your current location with a tag. Locations logged that can be viewed on the map or edited and sent by SMS or email
- Integrates with Dropbox(R). Both log session gpx files and tap log gpx and html files can be synchronized with your Dropbox.
