The Poultry industry has the potential to help achieve the United Nations (SDGs) of eliminating malnutrition and ensuring better health for all. Among the 17 SDGs, ending hunger, achieving food security and improving nutritional status are the ones that the poultry industry deals with while making sure all people especially children most vulnerable to severe malnutrition. Despite all efforts made, disease outbreaks and other parameters still devastate the economies of millions of farmers worldwide making a living from poultry farming. Standard tests for diseases are expensive and rare while lab results take hours or days. Many diseases infect chickens simultaneously which causes increasing mortality. Disease contaminated chickens can affects humans health.

SAVETHECHICKENS Artificial intelligence (AI) APP performs disease diagnosis instantly. Poultry Farmers takes a photo of any infected chicken, or poop. The system scans and performs Machine learning which screens and analyzed the disease from the already installed dataset, matches it with the algorithm and derives the diagnosis by looking in all directions of the scan before arriving at the diagnosis; display the results and advices on the needed treatment. It efficiently identifies and discretely recognizes while evaluating the examined images to optimized the diagnosis with more than 95 percent accuracy and performs similarly to a well-trained veterinarian, generates decision on whether or not the case should be referred for treatment within 30 seconds with the ability to review more than 200,000 scans conducted the same time and help farmers and veterinarians to identify diseases and act fast before spreading to potentially infect people and cuts out the need to send samples away for expensive lab tests.
The system stores the data gathered on disease surveillance to help track outbreaks across the country.
