Soil Samples description
Farmers: Locate spots to take soil samples. Use map to navigate to each spot. Will work on most Android devices. A tablet is nice but will also run on your Android phone. Cell reception is not
needed. Locations use GPS. User will need the technical ability to save a map image to the Soil Sampling App folder and enter two GPS coordinates. Maps may be created from Google Earth, your local
county assessor's GIS system, pictures of a plat map, or even from a quad copter camera. Spots to take soil samples can be generated by App at 2 1/2 acres, 5 acres, or 1 hectare. User can upload
spots from Ag software and download GPS coordinates to merge with lab results. Send samples to your local lab. See webpage for notes on creating a prescription for fertilizer application
