- Income levels & savings: This tool provides a quick view of income levels that qualify for savings. Certain individuals may qualify at different levels. You’ll learn your exact savings and plan prices when you fill out a Marketplace application.

- Premium tax credit:When you apply for coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace, you’ll find out if you qualify for a “premium tax credit” that lowers your premium - the amount you pay each month to your insurance plan.
The amount of your premium tax credit depends on the estimated household income for 2018 that you put on your Marketplace application.

- Cost sharing reductions:After you fill out an application with the Health Insurance Marketplace and provide household and income information, you’ll find out if you qualify for a premium tax creditthat lowers your monthly health insurance bill.
You’ll also find out if, in addition, your income qualifies you for extra savings known as “cost-sharing reductions.” If it does, you can save money a second way: By paying less out of pocket each time you get medical services.
