Save Consumer Right description

In life of a citizen, Consumer Rights is a really important topic. It is needed for the protection against fraudulent behavior in terms of adulterated foods, fraud product, false advertising & taking extra charge than market retail price (MRP). Beloved Metropolitan Dhaka City is ever increasing and the busy roads getting busier. Thus the pressure for upholding justice and security is much more intense. To mitigate the need, a very useful law has been passed.
Preservation of Citizens Right’s Law 2009 states that any citizen can complain to Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) regarding any consumer rights breach. In any case, if a perpetrator is found guilty & fined in monetary terms, the complainer will get a handsome 25% of the monetary fine. This app, in our view is a meaningful additional punch to ensuring safety to Consumers of Bangladesh.
In the beginning, there is a tab where the app user can write his/her complain/advise properly and send to DNCRP. The system is adopted from DNCRP approved policy & definition of complete written complain. Here user will provide his complete identity, contact information, topic of complain, detail description of the incident, incident place & proof of the incident in terms of picture or pdf or word file.
The app also presents various useful information regarding Consumer Rights Law of Bangladesh. The information category includes:
1. Which Activities Are Identified as Consumer Rights Breach
2. Who will be Identified as ‘Consumer’
3. Complaint Lodging System
4. Contact Details & Address of Each Consumer Rights Protection Service Providing Agency
5. Timeline within Which a Complain Can Be Lodged
6. How a Complain Can Be Lodged
7. The Characteristics of an Acceptable Complain
And
8. What Happens After a Complain?
The app also contains detail of Consumer Rights Preservation Law of Bangladesh 2009 and the pdf version of Full Law within. Anyone can download it for further reading.
User also have a log privilege. Every complain or advice he/she sends to DNCRP will be preserved within app in a separate tab. There is also a privilege to create draft.
In a separate tab the contact detail of all the Consumer Rights Protection Service Providing Agency is presented.
We hope that the app will make the users more conscious about their rights as a consumer and give them a better chance as a citizen to get justice against fraudulent activities.
