Panchatantra Kathalu - TM description

The Panchatantra is an indian kind of fairy-tale series of colorful fables. This fairy tales are narrations of guru Vishnu Sharma to the 3 sons of (Mahilaroshya kingdom) king. All the stories are according to its own narrative, it illustrates, for the benefit of three ignorant princes, the central Hindu principles of nithi. While nithi is hard to translate, it roughly means prudent worldly conduct, or "the wise conduct of life".

Vishnu Sharma narrations are divided into 5 parts:-

Mitra-labham or Mitra-samprapthi: The Gaining of Friends
Mitra-bheda: The Separation of Friends
Kakulokyam: Of Crows and Owls
Labdhapranasam:Loss Of Gains
Apariksitakarakam: Ill-Considered Action / Rash deeds
