Why do you need to manage your Health Record - The need?

In India we rarely manage our personal health record seriously. Some leading hospitals do provide us paper files with patient ID and websites to know the details. However smaller clinics, ad-hoc consultations doesn't have any trail of records with individuals since the record is given in paper form. The paper form includes medical prescriptions, bills, lab reports and doctor advise. Managing health record by oneself makes it easier for tracking back the medical history and reduces risk of ignoring historical conditions.
