Lost Frontier 1.0.3 apk, update on 1970-01-01
** One of our biggest hits of all time, Zombieville USA 2, is now available on Android! Check it out! **

Lost Frontier is a turn-based strategy game, brought to you from the creators of the Battleheart and Zombieville series'. In a fantasy-western setting consumed by steam-punk technology and the supernatural, can you survive with just your wit and a six-gun at your side?

• Story Mode - Play through 24 chapters that introduce you to the gameplay, characters, and world of Lost Frontier.

• Challenge Mode - once you've mastered the mechanics, put your knowledge to the test in a series of 20 demanding missions.

• 20 Unique Unit types - take command of a wide range of Wild West forces, from Gunslingers and Cavalry to civil-war era Cannons and Gatling Guns. Or, employ more exotic weapons like steam-powered Gyrocopters and Zeppelins, and enlist the help of dark forces like Werewolves and Necromancers.

• Living Legends - choose a "Living Legend" as the leader of your forces. Each of the 9 unique legends grow in power as you play with them, and promote different play styles. Will you pick your foes off from a distance as Wyatt "Long-Arm" Wilcox, or focus on brute force with the help of ace gunslinger John "6-eyes" McGraw?

• Custom Games - choose from a variety of maps, set up the rules, and play with or against AI or human players via local, hot-seat play.

All in all, the games great. But seriously? Mass gunslinger rushes actually working against a whole horde of posses? That maybe funny in the first time, but later it gets ridiculous. It also works the other way, where you are surrounded by ghouls and your friend vampires are limited and don't do much. Not to mention the army of steam tanks...

A very good spin off from Advance wars.
All of you who have down voted this game didn't realize that why it gets so hard is because whenever you level up your Co. you get over powered buffs to your Co. and it's units. You have to replay the missions that you won already to be able to win the unfair missions. Hopefully you guys/gals have read this and changed your review. Also to you folks who thinks that the characters need to cuss more often needs to think of us people who doesn't give anything towards vulgar language. Keep it clean people.

Great advanced wars clone
Really solid title. Has the same problem that all this developers games have: no difficulty setting. Would love to play at a more casual pace once in a while. Otherwise, very well put together.

I like it, but AI need difficulty settings.
I've been playing this at work during downtime against the bots but they seem too easy. Their way of playing is too predictable and they don't seem to care much about the resource building once you attack them or each other. This makes the game easy even when on max handicap. Other than that it's a great game, just alittle easy which sometimes gets boring.

Too difficult to feel rewarding
Game was great at first but after a while the maps just get ridiculously hard and it just doesn't feel worth it to play over and over again until you beat it. EDIT: ok, it took some work but I finally beat it. Solid game.

Finally another Mika game. It's been a long time coming, and it's definitely worth the wait. If you've enjoyed any of his stuff before, just go ahead and buy this. You're gonna love it. Great, fun, casual rts.

Great Advanced Wars Style Strategy Game!
Lost Frontier hits all the right notes, even if it drags in a few places. The art style is great, and meshes with the theme well. The music is well done and the sound effects of the guns is very satisfying. The gameplay is very similar to Advanced Wars, if slightly simplified to fit the smaller package. There are a few issues though. On my Nexus 6 the game will occasionally drop frames on the AI's turn, and loading screens frequently black out and hang for 5 to 10 seconds. Minor problems for a good game.

Advance Wars in the Old West
Great game from a great developer. Keep up the great work. Auto save works very well if you have to minimize to take a phone call.

Seems great so far!
Great first impressions, fun and polished, and shows signs of being quite deep. No technical issues for me yet. Interestingly I also use Bluetooth headphones and unlike one of the other reviewers I have had no trouble. Very much in the spirit of another mobile game, an all time classic.

Excellent wild west turn-based Turn Based Strategy Game that takes a large amount of gameplay inspiration from the Nintendo popularised Advance Wars series and adds a "Wild Western" spin. Controls are responsive and easy, graphics are distinctive and cartoonish, and gameplay is thoughtful and fun with a large array of units at your disposal. Some state the game ramps up in challenge quickly, but those comfortable with the Advance Wars series or similar should find themselves right at home. Campagin, challenge, and custom battles are included. This game is worth your purchase. Recommended.

Tough but nice strategy game. Careful planning required to progress. Game has bug on level up or restart, on a Samsung Tab S. scenery goes missing while people visible. Spoils gameplay. Only a save and exit option no offline autosave, frustrating to restart a level many turns in. Update thanks.

Bought this when it came out because Mikamobile makes damn good games (and those animations!). This one is just as fantastic, now that I've finally gotten around to playing it. I hope that after Battleheart 2, they decide to tackle Legacy 2, if not a whole new awesome project. Their games are mobile classics, and they even got me to learn how to animate their art the way they do for my own projects. I can't wait to see what they come out with next!
