Kurbad Warmbad description
Der Kurort Warmbad, Ortsteil der Bergstadt Wolkenstein, liegt in landschaftlich reizvoller Lage im Herzen des Mittleren Erzgebirges.Die Warmbad-Quelle wurde bereits 1385 im Zusammenhang mit dem Silbererzbergbau entdeckt. Von da an durchlebte der Kurort eine bewegte Geschichte vom beliebten Wallfahrtsort zum angesehenen Fürstenbad bis hin zum Standort eines Bergarbeitersanatoriums.
Auch heute noch ist die Warmbad-Quelle mit 26,5 °C die wärmste in Sachsen!
