Free basic calculator description

A straight forward calculator that carries out the basic operations of arithmetic as well as square roots and powers. A PI key and buttons for entering brackets are also included along with an ANS button to paste your previous answer into a new calculation.

The calculator follows the usual rules for order of operations and automatically applies unary plus and minus at the start of a calculation and after any operations with the same + and - key used for addition and subtraction. Repeated pressing of the equals key will repeat the previous calculation but with ANS pasting the previous answer into the new calculation.

The calculation being entered will scroll after reaching the end of the display so arbitrarily long calculations can be entered. The screen can be scrolled back to review what has already been typed.

Please note that the calculator will interpret √25? as the square root of 25 then multiplied by pi. To find the square root of 25? you must use brackets i.e. √(25?)
