You can “e-hail” (hail via your smart-phone) a Federal Transit Car immediately or schedule a reservation for a car when you need it. The Federal Transit App pinpoints your current location and identifies available Federal Transit cars within the area. Users are able to decide the pick-up time, select the vehicle type, enter the destination, see the "no surprises" FLAT fare amount in advance (by providing the destination of the ride), and pay for the ride, all within the app. OR users can pay the “meter” price, which calculated similar to the yellow and green taxi meter price in New York City. You’re even able to store frequent rides, not just addresses, and we are constantly striving to make your transportation as easy and as affordable as possible by adding new features and functionality to our App.
